Make popsicle sticks and other building materials available to the children. Encourage children to build structures on their own or with other children, but ask questions, make suggestions, or provide help as needed.
The children were playing with large wooden planks and blocks. The educator offered them popsicle sticks as a smaller verion of similar bulding materials.
